I went into the bike rental store to rent a bike for the Loveland Frogman Triathlon the weekend of September 9th. I made arrangements to rent the bike and pick it up on Friday September 15 because the Loveland Bike rental is only open on the weekend starting at 10 am and I needed the bike before then. They quoted me a reasonable price and then came Friday September 15th. No phone call. I called and called and couldn't get a hold of anyone. Thanks Loveland Bike Rental for leaving me hanging! P. S. Loveland frogman, you probably should rethink advertising Loveland bike rental as a place to get your bike for the race because they are unreliable.
Although the trail was beautiful and the staff was friendly, I came away from this place very disappointed. I paid to ride for two hours for two people and only got to ride for approximately 45 minutes because the tire on my bike went flat not once, but twice, after taking it back to get more air placed in the tire after the first time, and ended up having to make a thirty minute walk back to the shop. When I returned and explained what happened, I was met with what seemed to be sincere apologies, but it was very disappointing to pay nearly thirty dollars for two hours of bike riding, not get to use half of it, and then to be offered nothing more than an apology.
Best bike trail. Friendly service and beautiful scenery too! Very clean and well kept.
